EXTERNALS - European ambitions on defence and the transatlantic link
Overview
Join us for a discussion with Tobias Cremer, Sciences Po alumnus and German Member of the European Parliament, on the future of European security and defence. The conversation will explore what Europe needs to do to safeguard its security, the evolving role of NATO, and how EU institutions and member states can best coordinate their actions to strengthen Europe’s strategic autonomy while maintaining a strong transatlantic partnership.
This event will offer students an opportunity to engage directly with current European debates on defence integration, transatlantic cooperation, and the EU’s role in a changing global order.
Organised by the School of Public Affairs, the Paris School of International Affairs and the Jacques Delors Centre.
