In the context of an increasing number of national and European standards on housing, the cost of building new social housing infrastructure is steadily rising. Although the situation differs from country to country, housing policies have to cope with a large (and increasing) number of rules and regulations which involve measures of social sustainability, energy saving and environmental sustainability, safety regulations, mobility management etc. How is the situation in different countries in detail?
