Event description

Description

Come with friends and/or family and discover the wonderful Cellars of Cureghem and the urban farm inside of it. The Cellars extends on more than 8.000 m2 !

  • Le Champignon de Bruxelles is the unification of the wisdom of Japan and the Belgian folklore : it's the fusion of shiitake with beer ! The originality of the project ? We recycle beer waste to produce our exotic mushrooms. It's a real mix of urban agriculture, circular economy and exotic flavours !

  • ECLO is an urban farm in the heart of Brussels where delicate microgreens are grown : radish, sunflower, red cabbage and many more ! Rich in nutrients, colored and tasty, they are grown 365 day a year in the Cellars of Cureghem ! Ideally located, they take advantage of the heat and CO2 emitted by the activity of Le Champignon de Bruxelles.

The visits includes a video projection, a game about circular economy, a guided tour and... a degustation of mushrooms and microgreens ! You'll also get the chance to buy our products straight from farm to fork... can't be more local than that ! (beware, only cash will be possible).

Minimum visitors: in order for the visit to be 100% confirmed, we need 8 participants at least. Of course, you'll be 100% refunded if the event is cancelled. Once confirmed, you'll get an e-mail with an access map to our offices and a phone number to call in case of need.
