The Arts and Humanities Sub-Committee Fringe Event will focus on the how we can strengthen and sustain Arts and Humanities research within Public Policy. With an exciting line up of speakers and panelists, as well three parallel workshops to choose from, we aim for this space to be one where academics, policy professionals, and knowledge brokers can collaborate, discuss, and organise around Arts and Humanities Policy Engagement.

The Agenda is as follows

12.30-12.50: Welcome and Keynote Speaker, Professor Arlene Holmes-Henderson MBE.

13.00-13.45: Panel on Mapping the Arts and Humanities.

Chaired by Prof Jane Winters, joined by Helen Apsey (AHRC), Sarah James (WoECC), Emily Hopkins (Creative PEC).

14.00-14.40 Workshops & Networking

Workshop 1: Arts and Humanities & ARI's (Laura Bea, UPEN, Rob Davies, UCL, Elizabeth Lomas, UCL).

Workshop 2: Building research imapct into bids (Prof Arlene Holmes-Henderson, UPEN Vice-Chair, Durham, Prof Pascale Aeibescher, Exeter, Representative, AHRC).

Workshop 3: People mobility between research and policy (Thomas Kelsey, Oxford, Alice Tofts, CAPE, Sarah Cowan, British Academy).
