Description

During this workshop you will create your first FPS videogame with Unity 3D!

Your hero is the guardian of the most famous Dino-park of the world. His goal is to feed dinosaurs with the SMETH, a special weapon especially conceived for throwing and cooking meat.

The planning of the workshop is the following:

  1. Demonstration of the game that you will develop and extend with your ideas.
  2. Overview of the Unity 3D application and explanation of the basic concepts of a game.
  3. Creation of the 3D Dino-park, using a brush and assets like stones, trees, etc.
  4. Integration of the SMETH, the Special MEat THrower used by the guardian to feed the dinosaurs.
  5. Creation of assets like boxes, menus, game rules, and so on.
  6. Introduction to code implementation: how to create the artificial intelligence of the dinosaurs and the rules of the game.

After this guided session, the coaches will help you to modify the game with your ideas and to create the best Dino-park ever. One or two projects will also be presented during a SPE-CI-AL session in the end of the afternoon.

If you are older than 12, don’t hesitate to participate in this workshop of the Swiss Game Center!

Only 20 places are available!
