"Russia & Ukraine - An Unorthodox View"
Eugene B. Kogan will offer an interactive deep-dive into the prospects for international order in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine War. He will touch on the key trends and evaluate President Joe Biden’s handling of the crisis. Dr. Kogan has previously written an Op-ed for Newsweek and gave an Interview for Connecticut College Alumni Magazine on this topic.
Eugene B. Kogan is co-author of "Mediation: Negotiation by Other Moves" book in which, together with his distinguished colleagues Alain Lempereur, Jacques Salzer, Aurélien Colson & Michele Pekar, he brings decades of critical analysis and experience that the authors tested worldwide in international organizations, governments, NGOs, universities and corporations.
Eugene B. Kogan, Ph.D., a negotiation strategist and Harvard Business School executive coach with more than 15 years of experience enabling international executives and their teams to successfully navigate high-uncertainty environments. Author of an award-winning Brandeis Ph.D. thesis on diplomatic negotiations, Eugene has co-authored a book on conflict resolution strategies and has designed and taught a number of leadership development programs, such as “Using Power Effectively,” “Leadership and Influence,” and “Advanced Negotiation Skills.” An agile relationship-builder, Eugene has conferred with all of America's top diplomats from Henry Kissinger to Rex Tillerson. He was born in Moscow and immigrated to the United States as a teenager. Eugene speaks English, Russian and French.
