Adiós, Red Flags
Overview
Before the Christmas market gets loud and sparkly, we take one quiet hour to say: actually… no more.
This is a playful, pen-to-paper breakup ritual with:
- The people you keep giving chances to.
- The stories you keep replaying in your head.
- The tiny self-betrayals you’re low-key tired of.
Together, we will:
- Call out the red flags (ours and theirs) and decide which ones we’re finally done entertaining this winter.
- Write short anonymous notes for a “Letting Go” box – things we wish we’d said, patterns we’re tired of, the “never again” list.
- Write a personal letter starting with “Dear Winter Me…” about how we actually want to feel next winter – safer, softer, more held, and a lot less patient with bullshit.
- Name one small, concrete way we’ll have our own back this winter and carry that intention with us into 2026.
All “Letting Go” notes are anonymous and will be symbolically released after the workshop (torn/shredded without being read). Your letter to your Winter Self is yours to keep for the darker months, like a little reminder that you chose you.
The vibe is fun, honest, and trauma-aware – created with migrants and underrepresented communities in mind (because we know this city can be a lot), but open to anyone who’s done being “nice” at their own expense.
