About this event

Registration if for external participants only.

All active participants (speakers, discussants, poster presenters and organizers) do not have to register.

IÉSEG is strongly committed to sustainability issues and we ask you to register for the lunch if (and only if) you are sure to be present. Lunch tickets will be distributed so you will not receive any lunch unless you are registered.

This workshop is organized in the context of the ANR project MALYNES by IÉSEG School of Management, in collaboration with the LEM.

The Workshop aims at presenting cutting-edge research papers at the frontier of the Economics of the Family and the Economics of Migration. These are the central topics in the research agenda of the IÉSEG research center on Family Labor and Migration Economics (IFLAME).

Family and mobility decisions are closely intertwined. The Migration and Family Workshop (2nd edition) aims at presenting cutting-edge research papers at the frontier of the Economics of the Family and the Economics of Migration. It is thought as a hub where worldwide experts get in contact with researchers interested in the study of migration and family behaviors, in order to exchange ideas, projects and perspectives about the last developments of the scientific knowledge in these fields.

For our second edition, we have the great honor to welcome three keynote speakers: Martha Bailey (UCLA), David Mc Kenzie (World Bank) and Christian Dustmann (University College London) as well as three distinguished speakers: Patricia Cortés (Boston University), Anne Hannusch (University of Mannheim) and Guillaume Blanc (University of Manchester).

The full program will be published soon.

Registration is free but compulsory and is open until June 11, 2023 – 11.59pm.
